I formed TeleMediPro to ensure that disadvantaged and underserved communities worldwide can access virtual healthcare and healthcare consultation services. To expand my reach, I recently became the Global Telemedicine Council Chairperson of the Rotary Club of Global Impact District 7680. My desire to help people before they get to a hospital stems from over 21 years of clinical experience in critical care settings as an urgent care Registered Nurse and holding a CCRN certification in which only 2% of the three million-plus Registered Nurses in the USA have this certification of expertise in critical care. Doctoral education helped me to expand my knowledge and further increased my confidence that I can make a difference with my nonprofit, TeleMediPro. TeleMediPro is also in alignment with United Nations 2030 Sustainable Development Goal 3.8. Universal health coverage.
