Stone's Throw Floral operates in Houston, Texas and we provide wedding florals in and around the metro area. We operate out of a small warehouse space where we keep rental inventory and produce floral designs. I started this business in the very beginning of Covid, when I was laid off from a job and was desperate to help make ends meet for my family. I fell back on a lifelong love of design and nature, and started selling small, inexpensive flower bouquets at markets on the weekend. I met my first wedding client there and did their wedding in early 2021. I never really made much income at the markets, but I continued to gain clients and connections. I did 4 weddings in 2021 and have bootstrapped the business from this dire situation into my life's passion.
