Polaris Talent was founded in 2017 by me, a long-time WWBIC volunteer and recipient of the 2022 Wisconsin SBA Women's Business Champion Award. We are an 80% woman-owned Wisconsin Benefit Corporation headquartered in Racine, WI. Co-founder Marshall is Chief of Staff and co-founder Roma is Chief Operating Officer. We started Polaris Talent because we noted a lack of vendor options for SMB (small to midsize businesses) and pre-IPO companies who needed a high-quality recruitment solution that didn’t force them to hire a large internal team or pay agency and headhunt fees. Our model mirrors a managed services approach where companies pay a monthly fee for an all-inclusive recruiting service that scales as they grow. We call it “recruiting-as-a-service”. Our focus is on finding and engaging diverse degreed professionals for engineering, computer science, finance, legal, marketing, sales, and business development functions. We are certified diversity recruiters who use the latest techniques to find talent, evangelize for a company, and help them make key hires that make an impact from day one. The most recent version of our mission statement is: “Polaris Talent drives transformation by designing and delivering strategic recruitment and people programs that improve diversity and optimize employee capabilities for high tech companies, motorsports organizations, and automotive companies that want to create a culture where everyone wins, together.” We are passionate about giving back and have taken the 1% Pledge to donate 1% of profit to organizations that impact our communities. Polaris Talent donates time and money to non-profits focused on advancing women in motorsports. In 2022 we amended our Articles of Incorporation to make Polaris Talent a Wisconsin Benefit Corporation.
