In 2008 we initiated the Home Improvement Company named Joshua's Commission Construction LLC with my husband. Our business comprises home remodeling projects, including kitchen, bathroom, basement, and sunroom remodels.
My husband and I were alone for almost a decade on a limited basis as we were putting four kids through college and acquiring three degrees myself. Work and life got in the way, and working part-time was not profitable, so it was difficult; then Covid came, and we could not even work part-time.
In March of 2021, we reinstated the business; I strategized with her husband and children to resurrect and expand the business and hire employees, we hired two employees, and the company took off. Today we have ten employees and would like to double that number in one year, but the struggle is still tricky.
We started this business as we were mishandled in the past by contractors and started doing small projects for our personal property and realized that we love it.
We decided to take our hobby to the next level by creating a business and sharing our passion for remodeling with others that need making their home remodeling dreams a reality!
We saw the need for honest contractors with integrity while being cost-effective and efficient to pass the savings onto our customers.
We created and constructed the unfinished basement in our home to accommodate a full office for the business at 1635 Mabel Street, 1 st floor, Piscataway Nj 08854.
We pride ourselves on being cost-efficient and effective so we can pass the savings on to our customers.
