After years working as a photographer and artist for others and then as a sole proprietor, I incorporated JAB Fine Art & Design in April 2021! I currently work from a 160 sq. ft. home studio and use a local maker space for large equipment (laser cutters, powder coating, etc). I've been fortunate to receive guidance from local creative business mentorship programs and it was through one of these that I developed a system of customizable wall art pieces to sell via a trade group of regional craft businesses and entrepreneurial artists. With their help and national exposure received from doing my first trade show, I am now seeing my work placed in spaces locally and across the country! To keep up the momentum, I have been developing more products for public spaces with a focus on sustainability. I'm currently making a line of lights and I'm so excited to have my work out in the world and accessible to anyone who wants to see it.
