Peter is building an outdoor patio for his Caribbean restaurant! Irie Diner Caribbean Restaurant is a full-service casual dining restaurant. Irie Diner's menu is reflective of the Caribbean diaspora. Our dishes bear the name of several Caribbean Islands. In addition to our bold Caribbean flavors, Irie Diner serves beer, draft beer, an assortment of wines, and wine-based cocktails.Irie’s customers come from all walks of life; from members of Jacksonville’s local government to the police, firefighters, teachers, and many other public servants. Irie Diner is a community-centered establishment and is supported by other local businesses and leaders, including the local hospitals and law offices. In addition, Irie Diner draws customers from Fleming Island, the beaches, and St. Augustine. The restaurant is located close to several hotels so the business benefits from the tourist season. Our customers love our authentic flavors, picture-ready plates, superb service, ambiance, music, and polished dining room. Customers like our simple menu that also gives them choices. Irie diner offers full sit-down service, take out, delivery, and ordering on the Irie Diner app.
Our Ambition

The initial capital raised will pay off short-term high-interest credit card debt. The ability to refinance this short-term debt will immediately increase Irie Diner’s cash flow by 15%. The burden this debt has had on Irie Diner’s cash flow has prevented the business from expanding and putting resources into other growth projects, such as the planned patio buildout. After the debt is paid off, the remaining funds will be used to construct a front patio to offer outdoor service, and finance a few dining room improvements such as offering additional seating. Irie Diner will also look to hire two part-time cooks and line cooks to assist with projected increased demand. Finally, Irie Diner is looking to produce branded merchandise to improve our brand awareness and customer loyalty. All of these projects are anticipated to contribute positively to revenue growth.
