CF Art & Creative Wellness is a woman-owned & operated expressive arts studio with the mission to make creativity & the healing powers of art accessible to all. All our programs use therapeutic art practices, mindfulness & imaginative play to increase well-being, nurture self-discovery, and cultivate connection. Our offerings include: - Mindful Art Classes & Workshops for our local community. - 6-12 week programs for non-profit organizations that help underserved populations in our community who are struggling with houselessness, addiction, and exploitation. - Online classes and membership programs designed to help you incorporate creativity into your self-care practice. We currently offer our services all over the city of Pittsburgh, and occasionally in Burlington VT (where I am from originally!) and we just signed a lease for a studio in Sharpsburg at Atithi Studios. This is where we will be hosting many of our community events as a part of this new workshop series we are launching. I started my business in 2020 when I realized a part of my creative practice was missing: space holding. I was engaging in my personal art practice through visual art & theater. But I have always been a community builder as well and I wanted to start creating spaces for people to gather, connect and remember that life can be magical and I knew art had the power to do that.
