Bites & Bowls is a small eatery that offers families healthy breakfast and lunch in Springdale, Arkansas. Our menu includes fresh salads, creative bowls with fruits and yogurts, healthy smoothies, fun, savory, sweet waffle bowl creations, and tasty sandwiches. We also frequently offer the traditional family recipe of our pozole soup, and it is a big hit! Our thriving Hispanic/Latino/Latina population needed more family-friendly places that provided healthy comfort foods. Bites & Bowls also is a source of employment for my community which welcomed me as an immigrant a few years ago. I now provide work to 4 employees who are like family to us. My sister, whom I fed in my teenage years, is now my biggest supporter and a local business professional herself. I can proudly say that this is a family business we all support together. My company will be five years old in 2023, and we are many locals' first choice to get a healthy family meal that powers them up. We have been fortunate to grow with excellent regional news stories written about our first Kiva loan back in 2020. That first Kiva loan in 2020 helped us buy extra equipment to produce food dishes faster and helped us survive the pandemic. We then gained large-scale catering orders for events at the local university, many non-profit groups with their events, and important businesses, which has significantly grown our income. In 2021 we could buy new updated furnishings and fixtures for the dining room from a local Springdale wood artist and hire a local muralist to paint themed murals on the walls, making Bites & Bowls a beautiful place in which to dine. Our team runs an efficient and friendly restaurant.
