Brighter Beginnings Childcare Center is a locally established childcare facility close to Salisbury, NC's downtown area. We promote a pro-social environment where foundational skills in education, mental/emotional health, and life skills are focused on ensuring children have a successful cognitive, behavioral, and emotional experience. Our teaching and administrative staff are highly qualified and certified in early childhood education. We also have quality access to continuing education and training opportunities through the NC Division of Child Development and Early Education, Smart Start of Rowan, and several other accredited organizations. Our mission is to be a holistic child-focused early learning center that helps children to develop under the care and guidance of highly trained professionals within a child-friendly environment. Rowan County has approximately 60 childcare centers which serve a population of 138 940. Basically, one childcare center per 2,315 individuals, which is only one childcare center every eight (8) miles. In view of the fact that in the state of North Carolina, Rowan ranks 93rd out of 100 counties in childcare centers per capita and 33rd out of 100 counties in childcare facilities per square mile, there is a high demand for quality childcare. Salisbury and Rowan county's booming economies and quick expansions have increased the need for quality childcare.
