Our Story
Uzuri Beauty Supply is described as a sanctuary and a one stop shop for black beauty needs. The shop opened in Orange Park Mall to cater to the beauty needs of black women. They offer hair care products, hair extensions and wigs, as well as salon services. Uzuri Beauty Supply exponentially expanded its reach by offering product delivery through DoorDash and shipping products nationwide via their online store. Due to strong growth, owner Kai believes that now is the time to open up a second store location to reach more of the Jacksonville community!
Our Ambition
The funds raised in this offering will help with the buildout of Uzuri Beauty Supplys new location. The capital will help purchase the necessary inventory for a retail business. With this expansion, it is also crucial to keep up with Uzuri Beautys current branding and aesthetic standards, so a portion of the funds will go towards fixtures for the new location. Kai also wants to take marketing to the next level, she was able to leverage foot traffic from the mall at her current location, and with this extra budget she wants to bring new customers to the business to self-sustain the new location. Kai has also budgeted some of the funds for payroll needs to create a team environment of experienced staff to ensure Uzuri Beautys level of customer-first service.
