The Filling Station Goods is a gift shop with refillers focused on American-made, locally-made, socially sound, and sustainably sourced products. Our refillery is the biggest promoter of our sustainability core value, whereby locals can bring in their empty soap, lotion, shampoo, etc. bottles and refill them. This helps to reduce: waste in our environment, single-use containers, and plastics, and educate our community on what is in the products we are using - clean, natural, eco-friendly ingredients. We are located both online and in a brick-and-mortar location in the small town of Benicia, CA. In 2020, like many others, I found respite in the downtime that the pandemic created. I took a hard look at where I wanted to be in the next five years and ultimately confirmed what I had known for years: I wanted to run a business in the center of my community. A business that gave back to it supported it, that educated it. Through a series of events and lots of urging from my family, The Filling Station Goods and Gifts was officially born on December 29th, 2021. We launched the website on January 30th, 2022, and opened our brick-and-mortar location in April 2022.
