Ron's Beans is a small batch coffee roaster in Portage, Michigan. We provide freshly roasted coffee to our wholesale customers, businesses, online customers, retail stores, and farmers' market customers. We have recently moved into a more extensive roasting facility (1200 sq ft) in Portage to support our sales growth and provide a retail outlet to showcase our coffees and drinks for customers to enjoy. I started roasting coffee in 2011 to fundraise for the Make A Wish Michigan WAM 300-mile bike ride. This event is the organization's largest fundraising event and brings over 900 riders annually. I wanted to support this event through fundraising and selling coffee to friends/co-workers/family each year. Eventually, businesses and retail stores started to carry my coffee which led to going into business full-time in 2019 (shortly before COVID).
