RIZOME is pioneering bamboo engineered lumber as a climate-positive alternative to wood, steel, and concrete.
Our Ambition
Bamboo is critical to addressing climate change and make the building industry sustainable. Our goal is to sequester 10 gigatons of CO2 by 2050, which is 1% of all anthropogenic carbon emissions. This is huge. In order to achieve this, we'll plant more than 1 million hectares of bamboo forest and build more than 1,000 manufacturing facilities. These projections cannot be guaranteed.
