Making It SewFun is a fashion sewing and design school located in Chicago. We offer a structured curriculum and workshops that empower the home sewist with the skills necessary to create well-fitted and professionally constructed garments. Our class size is small to ensure individual attention as we teach students how to sew progressively at their own pace. Part of our curriculum includes weekly sewing classes available for youth ages 8-17, as well as adult workshops throughout the year. Programs are available for every skill level, from beginner to advanced. Current class offerings include a specialized curriculum for kids and a 7-Level learn-to-sew program for adults. Students learn how to: operate sewing machines, work with different fabrics, use sewing tools and equipment, read and understand sewing patterns, make garments, crafts, home decorating items, and so much more!
