Our Story
Love, Katie Distilling is an upcoming woman and LGBTQ owned, Pittsburgh-based craft distillery. Katie is the owner and operator of the popular sips MOBILE BAR which serves weddings, BYOB restaurants, and corporate and private events with mobile bar services. Katie began distilling her own gin and vodka with the mentorship and guidance of other local, Pittsburgh-based distillers. As a member of the LGBTQ community and someone who has faced discrimination, Katie wanted to focus on spreading a message of love is love through her passion for a good cocktail. Thus, Love, Katie Distilling was born - a love letter to a partner, a family member, a friend, or even oneself.
Our Ambition
The funds raised in this offering will help Katie get her new location ready for its grand opening. Aside from the extensive renovations, funds will be used to purchase new production equipment. Katie also plans to acquire supplies in bulk to save on production costs. Finally, the rest of the money will be used for working capital in order to make sure Love, Katie Distilling is set for success.
