I have always had a passion for computers and programming. After working many years in the software development industry, I finally had the opportunity to work on my own app project. I have been developing my app Life Line Systems for over 3 years.
During this development stage, I also worked at my uncle's restaurant where I got to see other delivery apps operated. Speaking with the delivery drivers, I heard the same stories over and over - that Doordash and Uber Eats doesnt pay their drivers much at all. Seeing my uncle pulling his hair out when he saw how much commissions these delivery apps are taking out of his pockets was appalling.
The problem is that other third-party delivery or taxi app business models are unsustainable, taking up to 30% from the restaurant and sometimes more than 60% from the drivers. I knew I could do something about this problem, so I started working on my own Doordash/ Uber clone. I knew my app had to be a no-commission, membership-based platform. This business model allows our merchants and drivers to keep their hard-earned money.
Fast forward to 2022, and my app Life Line Systems is now accepting merchants and drivers during our beta testing and will soon be market-ready for download on all app stores.
