Our Story

Forking Vegan is an Austin-based vegan food truck focused on sourcing locally and creating delicious scratch made vegan food. Our customers are not limited to just plant-based lifestyles and we strive to create dishes anyone can enjoy. The food truck currently operates out of The Far Out Lounge offering a unique sandwich menu, pasta dishes, and small bites. All our ingredients are sourced from local farmers and makers to provide the highest quality ingredients. Knead Local is a new concept and will encompass a few different styles, offering more casual lunch service in addition to a fine dining dinner experience. On weekends, Knead Local will offer pre-fixe chef series menus in the evenings. The vision is to create a memorable fine-dining experience complete with locally crafted cocktails and whiskey pairings. Knead Local will show people the endless possibilities in creating an elevated vegan meal.
