Emerald Coast Chocolate is a two-fold business idea. We realized early on that there are so many craft chocolate makers in the world that it would be unfair if we didn't try to share these delicious artisan's work with as many people as possible. So, as part of the business model, we source craft chocolate from around the world in hopes of allowing people to experience a taste from somewhere they may never get to travel to. In addition, we continue to make our own delicious bean-to-bar and handmade chocolates, including things like chocolate truffles and a variety of chocolate bars with our own funky flavors added. W currently operates out of a small, local mall here in Florida. We attend events when weather permits and chocolate doesn't melt, and we are also working on expanding our online platform so we can continue to share the delicious offerings with those who cannot come by the shop. The business was conceptualized in late 2021. After planning and searching for a physical space that could allow for retail and small production, the spot was decided in the local mall. We started the business hoping to share the delightfulness of chocolate with as many people as possible, and we continue that plan.
