Dragon's Bite Handmade Retail is a marketplace for local authors, artists, creators, and crafters to display and sell their creations. My store is currently helping 45 families with an alternative stream of income that they normally wouldn't have had. It also provides a central marketplace for the local population, a population that has been known to go out of its way to ensure they support local creators. Continuing my grandmother's legacy of teaching crafts to children, I have dedicated an area of my store to the local children. The Kid Crafter Corner provides a place for local children to sell their own works of art. We currently have 5 children who sell their creations. From a jar of home-grown "bazel" to handmade earrings, and scrunchies, these kids do it all and they are amazing at it. Lastly, we also provide paint parties and other family-centered small-group instruction classes.
