Our Story
Cookie Cookie Ice Cream is a gourmet ice cream sandwich shop. We offer premium ice cream made fresh in store and fresh-baked family-recipe cookies, as well as other made-in-house baked treats like cinnamon rolls, brownies, muffins, and more. We work with local companies like 19 Coffee to bring community-supportive products like coffee and tea to round out our menu. Our staffing is a point of pride - We partner with area high schools to run a comprehensive school-to-work transition program where individuals with intellectual disabilities can learn to bake cookies, scoop ice cream, clean, run a cash register, and any other task that might come up over the course of a day here.
Our Ambition
With the equipment for a mobile unit, we will be able to expand into two key areas - Local events, like farmer's markets and summer festivals, and private events like weddings, birthday parties, and graduations. Both of these serve to inject the Cookie Cookie Ice Cream name into the community directly, much more effectively than just advertising, and offer additional hours of employment for our supported employees, who we hope to have operating the mobile unit at several events this summer.
