I, Wendy McCalla am the CEO of Body Essentials by WM. A skincare business I September “2022”. My skincare business consists of body butter, body scrubs, body oils, and lotions. I am located in Norwalk, CT. I will be operating my business online and via word of mouth. I found it difficult to find natural products in the stores to help with my dry skin and hyperpigmentation. I researched and decided to make my own product. My first product was a turmeric soap and turmeric butter. I shared it with my family and friends, and they loved it. I received positive feedback, and one of my family members discussed how both products helped with the hyperpigmentation on her face. I decided to go further and produce more natural products that will help with dry skin, hyperpigmentation, psoriasis, and dull skin. However, it’s a challenge as sometimes I am not able to meet my customer's demands in a timely manner. As a single mother, there are delays due to other financial responsibilities to fulfill my potential customer's orders, which is not a good look for my brand.
