Blanket & Board offers pop up, luxury picnics where people can connect. These unique, innovative, and intimate gatherings and picnics feature charcuterie and grazing menus that encourage self-care, intentional dialogue, and civil discourse. Blanket & Board serves private events such as birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, as well as corporate events. The businesss mission is to build strong, inclusive communities and enhance human connection. Owner Tierra has always understood and acknowledged how food has the power to bring people together, break down barriers, and foster understanding and empathy. It can be a powerful tool for building connections between individuals from different backgrounds and walks of life.
Our Ambition
The funds raised in this investment offering will help Tierra build out Blanket & Boards next growth project: a customized double-decker bus that will provide unique and innovative mobile event experiences. The mobile event model will minimize overhead costs that are associated with traditional brick-and-mortar event spaces.. The bus will allow the business to grow and expand in an unprecedented way, providing a runway for Blanket & Boards already popular picnics and grazing tables to reach more customers and create even more festive experiences. Tierras mission for this project is to revolutionize the Pittsburgh event market through a one-of-a-kind, unique, versatile mobile event space that can bring excitement and breathe life into any event.
